From Precision Engineering to a Passion for Cycling.

His professional world was rooted in precision engineering, but his passion for cycling led him to start importing bicycles and cycling spares to India. At the time, the cycling industry in India was still in its infancy, but he saw an opportunity and dreamt of building a stronger cycling culture in the country.

What started as a passion gradually grew into a thriving network of nearly 300 dealers across India.

This project was his first experiment in creating a retail space dedicated to cycling—a space that went beyond simply displaying bicycles. The idea was to bring a glimpse of European cycling culture to India, drawing inspiration from the countryside, cycling infrastructure, and the experience of cycling itself.

The design therefore became an extension of his passion: part retail, part experience, and a reflection of a cycling culture he wanted to see flourish in India.
